The project aims to strengthen the capacity of local self-government bodies (LSGBs) and residents of the Nedryhailivska, Andriyashivska, Chupakhivska, and Lebedynska communities in the Sumy region in the context of European integration, while also enhancing their resilience to the challenges associated with EU accession and post-war recovery.

The project is being implemented with the financial support of the project “Good Governance through GovTech and Transparency”, implemented by the federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Government.

The goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of communities to influence the content and implementation of Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs) through in-depth research of regulatory frameworks, practices of interaction between communities, the state, and companies, as well as analysis of existing cooperation cases to develop practical recommendations and engagement models.

The goal of the project is to modernize the visual identity and communication tools of the NGO “NOVA Energy.” This step is a logical continuation of the organization’s development, which in recent years has significantly strengthened its position, gained recognition in the field of sustainable community development, and now requires an updated appearance to reflect the modernity and innovativeness of its solutions.

The goal of the initiative is to support vulnerable groups of the Krasnopillia community by establishing a social and resource room and ensuring its sustainability at the Samotoivka Lyceum.

The goal of the project is to create conditions for the active participation of residents of the Krasnopillia community in Sumy Oblast in transparent and accountable recovery processes, taking into account the principles of sustainable development and shared responsibility, through the development and implementation of practical mechanisms for involvement in decision-making.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of CSOs to influence the sustainable post-war recovery of communities by engaging residents in the corruption and environmental assessment of proposed solutions. In addition to the short-term outcomes described in the logical framework, the project will also build community resilience and promote social cohesion around universally recognised sustainable development goals.

The aim of the project is to justify the need for introducing alternative EITI reporting in Ukraine for the year 2022 by conducting a preliminary assessment of the impact of the applied approaches to natural gas royalty calculation on profit distribution between subsoil users (companies) and the subsoil owner (state and local budgets).

To develop a regional coalition of NGOs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) working toward medical reform in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions, aiming to sustainably build the capacity of NGO leaders from the IDP communities in these regions to strengthen their influence on local authorities for improving medical services and advancing health care reform.

A large-scale project implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) aims to develop an evidence base to demonstrate the need for more effective methods of global nitrogen management. The project involves over 70 partners from around the world, divided into seven demonstration regions. The NGO NEW Energy is one of two representatives from Ukraine participating in this project.

The “Regional Hub for Civic Engagement” is currently operating actively under the umbrella of the NGO “NEW Energy.” In addition to holding regular seminars and trainings, the hub also provides individual consultations to civil society organizations in the region on how to update their statutes in accordance with Article 133 of the Tax Code of Ukraine and Law No. 4572-VI “On Public Associations.”

The aim of the project is to reduce corruption risks in the transfer of land from the StateGeoCadastre to the ATCs, to raise awareness of ATC heads about their rights and responsibilities in this procedure.

To apply best democratic practices to refine existing community passports, develop, and pilot the implementation of strategic socio-economic development plans for selected territorial communities (specifically, communities in Shyshaky District of Poltava Oblast and Natalynska/Kolomatska ATCs in Kharkiv Oblast), where hydrocarbon extraction takes place, taking into account additional revenues to local budgets in the form of a percentage of rent payments for subsoil use for oil, natural gas, and gas condensate extraction.

The goal of the project is to create tools for transparent management of hydrocarbon extraction and production at the local level and to establish productive cooperation among the three parties of the initiative: government authorities and local self-government, society, and extractive companies in the regions of Ukraine.

Café-Coworking Space for Moms is a large-scale project aimed at supporting mothers in Kharkiv during maternity leave. The coworking space regularly hosts workshops on topics such as parenting, child development up to one year, pregnancy and birth preparation, beauty and women’s health, baby health, physical development of both mother and child, as well as everything related to starting and running a business while on maternity leave. There are plans to launch business education programs tailored to the needs of families with young children.

Project goal:
To create and launch a space for mothers with children aged 6 months to 6 years, where they can work, study, and relax.
The “Mamo.space” project is designed primarily for women from Kharkiv, but moms from other cities in Ukraine or abroad can also benefit from its services. For example, those visiting Kharkiv for conferences or festivals or working with local business partners can now travel with their children — helping to strengthen the image of the city as family-friendly and inclusive.

Project goal: The project is aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial competencies and knowledge about the business potential of their region among young people from marginalized and rural areas of Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, and Moldova, with the participation of partner organizations from Italy and Spain. The project is supported and co-financed by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program.

In 2018, the NGO “NEW Energiya” joined the “Together” project, aimed at strengthening Ukrainian civil society by enhancing the role of civil society organizations in implementing and monitoring democratic reforms and promoting comprehensive socio-economic development in the country.

The goal of the “Science Has No Borders” project is to conduct joint research work by German and Ukrainian students using modern information and communication technologies.

The goal of the competition is to collect the best experiences and practical implementations from inventors and innovators in the field of energy efficiency that can be applied in everyday life by private households of ordinary citizens, and to disseminate the collected materials from the competition participants among environmentally conscious and engaged members of the public.

The project “Social Communications – New Opportunities for Active Youth” is aimed at strengthening the communication capacity of active youth in the Kharkiv region through establishing and maintaining a presence on the Internet.
